In addition, a few features that were removed in the Japanese version of the game are restored in this translation, namely the world map animations and the last attempted time when playing the Time Attack mode. As a result, the text is easier to read in this translation.īesides editing text, certain other screens were modified and translated back into English, most notably the title screen.

This font looks cleaner, and contains both uppercase and lowercase letters, while the original DK元 font only contained uppercase letters. The font is borrowed from the SNES version of DKC, as opposed to the one used in the original DK元 for the Game Boy. Only a few changes were made to the text, such as spelling corrections. The dialogue in this translation is largely based on the English text in the original Game Boy version of the game. This is an English translation of the Game Boy Color version of Donkey Kong Land III (while the game got an English release, it was for the Game Boy, not Game Boy Color).
